Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy policy comes into effect May 21st 2018, and outlines what information Cloney Audio ("we") collect and what we do with it. We take privacy very seriously and really want to make sure we honour and protect our visitors' ("your") information.

Having said that, please note we can only control the use of your data on our page. If you click and follow a link to an external site from cloneyaudio.com, then make sure you review the destination privacy policy if you want more information about how they deal with your data.

Personal Identifiable Information ("PII") and how we use it

It is always up to you if you want to share PII with us and we will manage it with great care. If we don't gather any information, there is much we can't deliver to you, such as products for home delivery/installation, newsletters or notifications of items coming in regarding an order or a repair. In the event that you do choose to share information with us, the following are some examples of information we collect:

  • your name, company, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address

  • credit card information (if applicable)

  • any account-preference information you provide us

  • your computer’s domain name and IP address, indicating where your computer is located on the Internet

  • session data for your login session, so that our computer can ‘talk’ to yours while you are logged in

We only use the information we collect to complete transactions with you, send you email updates and personalise the website notifications etc. That's it. We do not share your information with any vendors or other third parties and we do not subscribe you to anything.

Cookies

Our website does use cookies, which store personal data on your computer. An example of this is the pop-ups on our website, where cookies help to ensure that we don't show the same pop-up all the time.

We may also link information stored on your computer in cookies with personal data about specific individuals stored on our servers. If you set up your web browser (for example, Chrome or Internet Explorer) so that cookies are not allowed, you might not be able to use some or all of the features of our website.

External storage

We do store your data on servers provided by third party providers. An example of that would be the software platform we use to send out our newsletter. It is well protected and we only use providers with strict security requirements.

Changes to the policy

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy as needed or to comply with legal compliance requirements. If you have provided us with your email address we will let you know if any substantial changes occur which you may wish to be made aware of.

Questions or comments?

We are always eager to hear from you, so if you have any questions at all, please send us an email or drop by our store.
